THE TSINGY DE BEMARAHA NATIONAL PARK

The Tsingy de Bemaraha, located 200 km northwest of Morondava, represents a spectacular geological curiosity spanning 157,710 hectares, forming one of the largest protected areas in Madagascar. This unique site hosts exceptional biodiversity within a complex network of fissures and sculpted limestone blocks, offering one of the most spectacular landscapes in Madagascar. Whether by canoe or on foot, explore these extraordinary vast expanses through canyons and stone labyrinths. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1990, the Tsingy de Behamara constitutes one of the most astonishing geological wonders on the planet. Divided into Small and Grand Tsingy, they provide a unique experience approximately 20 meters above the ground, traversing humid forests to natural caves. These sanctuaries harbor remarkable diversity, with nearly 53 bird species and six rare lemur species.
